WACCAMAW RTA IS AWARDED ONE
MILLION DOLLARS IN FEDERAL FUNDS FOR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS
The Waccamaw Regional Transportation
Authority - The Coast RTA will receive 1.0 million dollars of federal surface
transportation program funds from the Waccamaw Council of Governments'
Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). The funds will allow the agency
to purchase and install state of the art bus shelters and bus stop
signage throughout its two county service area.
