The following is a list of current open solicitations for the Authority.
Request for Proposals
The Grand Strand Area Transportation Study (GSATS) is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare a Coast RTA Organizational Plan to identify transit needs, current gaps in service, and potential financing options. Coast RTA is a two-county public transit authority with fixed route and on-demand paratransit services. This proposal includes a fare & technology analysis; transit development plan; transit/human transportation coordination plan; and a regional transit financial analysis. Copies of the detailed request for proposals (RFP) can be obtained on the GSATS website at www.gsats.org and the Coast RTA website at https://coastrta.com or by contacting the GSATS Office at 843-546-8502 and 1230 Highmarket Street, Georgetown, SC 29440. The RFP includes a description of the services to be provided by respondents; the minimum content of the responses; and the factors to be used to evaluate the responses. Disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE’s) are encouraged to apply.
