Coast RTA Halts Rtes 16 & 16X Due to Bridge Closures; Continues Limited Service on Route 16

Coast RTA has suspended service to and from Georgetown on Route 16 due to bridge closure on US 17 below Pawleys Island. 

Route 16 service to and from Myrtle Beach to Pawleys Island will run as scheduled until the bridge is reopened later today, when full service to Georgetown will resume. Passengers are encouraged to follow the Coast RTA APP or call Customer Service for updates. 

Route 16X has been cancelled for Friday afternoon.

Coast RTA apologizes for any inconvenience that delays and service cancellation may cause. Please stay tuned to local media, Coast RTA’s APP and social media channels for service updates.
